Who I Am
My name is Helena Denley & I wear many hats – Mother, Wife, Sister, Daughter, Friend.
Some days (not very often) I’m just me – I need to make more time for meditating (everyday would be good) to get back in touch with me on a more regular basis.
A beautiful sunset
This year (2011) I achieved a lifelong dream of moving to the beach. I now live on the eastern side of Port Phillip Bay (Victoria, Australia) just 3 houses from the sand (no roads to cross) and I get to see the sun set everyday if I so choose (the beautiful sunsets are part of the reason for starting this blog – to share them with everyone). Living by the beach is amazing and a walk in the water can either be an energy booster if I’m feeling a little flat, or relaxing and soothing if I’m a little stressed.
What I Do
Being a Stay At Home Mum (SAHM), I get to spend everyday with my gorgeous little boy – he is very entertaining and together we are on a huge learning curve.
When my little boy is asleep or occupied with his own activities (cars, trains, ballgames, drawing, cutting paper into millions of pieces or some educational shows on ABC2), I create beautiful websites – here are some of my favourite websites that I’ve created.
Warren & Me
My husband (the DIY Website Coach) and I (WordPress for Mommies) are joining forces and creating a new comprehensive course to teach Small Business Owners and Mums how to make their own Business ready, Google friendly, beautiful websites using the WordPress platform and the Genesis Theme Framework. In our trial run of the weekend workshop, one of our students created this website for her business from scratch, all by herself – Breakthrough with Olga – very impressive and it shows we are on the right path.
In February I also started back at Ballroom and Latin Dance classes after a very long break – don’t know why it took me so long to start again, or why I ever stopped. Never mind, it’s great to be dancing again 
.
Why I Do It
My little boy
Who better to bring up our child than both his parents – after all, it takes two parents to create a child. And our child has made it very clear that he wants both of us around, not one of us going to a job 5 days a week.
What better way to have both parents at home than to be working on your own business with something you enjoy (teaching others to create their own websites) and having the time freedom to travel and experience the world, or just relax at home by the beach.
